If I Had A Garden…

… these are the plants and flowers that would be in it.

These are a mere sampling of the beauty I saw on my trip through Ireland and Great Britain. The plaque is from St. Paul’s Cathedral, which like the Phoenix it bears, reminds us to rise above all things. This would be in my garden, too (granted they would let me have it).

What places inspire your garden?

  1. Oh how lovely! I would love to visit this garden. Bring a blanket. Read a book. I’m in a craze getting a story ready for Squaw, so I can’t pull together my ideal garden to show you this morning. So for the time being, I’ll just have to wander through yours. Thanks!

      1. Squaw was spectacular! It has inspired me to drag one of my two “novels in pieces” back out of the drawer and whip it into shape over this next year. My short story was well received, so I’m going to make a few more edits and start sending it out. I’m on vacation with the family right now in Illinois, and then we’re on to Maine to visit my husband’s family. Will be posting about Squaw shortly.
